What went down
Finvest, a YC-backed startup building what they call the world's first AI wealth manager, came to Berkeley to meet undergrad and grad students and talk about the growth and marketing internships they were hiring for. The founding team walked through what they are building and why, demoed the product, and left the rest of the hour open for questions. This is the version of startup recruiting I like most, where you get the founders in a room instead of a job posting, and you can work out for yourself whether the thing they are building is one you want to spend a summer on.
